About Beagle Home Puppies

Beagle Home Puppies is a small hobby responsible Beagle Breeders that exclusively breed Beagle Dogs. We began in 2006 with the goal of breeding healthy, happy, sound Beagle Puppies for Beagle Show Dogs and Beagle Pet Puppies according to the AKC Breed Standard for Beagle. If you have ever been “owned” by one of these “little charmers” you know exactly why we feel this way.

Our Beagle puppies are home-raised and receive extra special attention from our three grown sons, 3 grandsons, daughter in laws as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Socialization is very important for the development of wonderful, outgoing, personalities that distinguish Beagle dogs from all other breeds. We built Beagle Home Puppies on a solid foundation of Beagle breeding lines that are well known for producing successive generations of healthy, elegant, beautiful, and adorable canine companions.

Although your Beagle will want to please you, he can be difficult to housetrain. Crate training is recommended.

Beagle are prone to chills, especially if they are damp or walking in damp areas.

If your Beagle has long hair, he can get sunburned on the skin where the hair is parted on the back.

Because of their small size and delicate structure, Beagle generally aren’t recommended for households with toddlers or small children.

To get a healthy dog, never buy a puppy from an irresponsible breeder, puppy mill, or pet store. Look for a reputable breeder who tests her breeding dogs to make sure they’re free of genetic diseases that they might pass onto the puppies, and that they have sound temperaments.

Some Beagle have delicate digestive systems and may be picky eaters. Eating problems can occur if your Beagle has teeth or gum problems as well. If your Beagle is showing discomfort when eating or after eating, take him to the vet for a checkup

A gentle and fearless dog breed, the Beagle greets everyone as a friend. Their glamorous white coat gives them a look of haughty nobility, but looks can be deceiving.

Even though these are purebred dogs, you may find them in the care of shelters or rescue groups. Remember to adopt! Don’t shop if you want to bring a dog home.

This is a sprightly, vigorous dog who excels not only as a companion but also as a therapy dog and competitor in such dog sports as agility, obedience, rally, and tracking. But most of all, they love to be with their people. Even novice pet parents and apartment dwellers will find these pups to be excellent furry family members.
